Surprising Vinland Saga took this long to get an anime adaptation. I read the manga years ago and I still have the same problem with this as I had then and that’s my lack of knowledge of European history and basic geography which lessens my enjoyment of the show. So pretty much ironically the most awful people Thorkell and Askeladd were the only reasons I kept watching. Well there’s not many morally right people in this show to begin with anyway. Thorfinn? He’s a lost cause since episode one. He’s rough to watch. He doesn’t change much until the next season if there is one.
I’ll be quite sad if they don’t continue. I don’t see much talk about this series.
Hey I came for the laughs, not the feels. These last two episodes man.
I would take dumb Kirito back over where the central story is going right now. Everything happening and the related characters outside the virtual world is so dumb.
Still an enjoyable harem rom-com.
Fun characters, interesting lore, and cool fight scenes sums up Fire Force. The actual story is kind of thin though, it’s literally contained within the first and last episode. Everything in between is okay and a certain female character destroys some key moments in the story. Honestly the best storytelling is done in the ending song when you realize what’s going on.
I’ve gotten to the point where the entire format of Shokugeki tiring. I’m only really interested in Yukihira and Erina’s story lines and their families and how it all ties together. I got that with the last three episodes and was happy enough with those to save the season. Sadly from what I’ve read the last season is something I shouldn’t acknowledge that even exists and pretend this is the last season.
I was robbed of a couple of hours watching this.
It turned into exactly what it was fighting hard not to become, a standard rom-com. Joro’s offbeat comments saves this show.
