The drama is drowning at times but the sublime beauty of Tsurune carried me through.

The Quintessential Quintuplets

Pleasantly surprised with this one. I usually can’t stomach upfront harem like this but the cringe was pretty low and everyone likable. I don’t understand why they bothered with an ambiguous ending though but whatever.

Mob Psycho 100 II

Mob Psycho 100 II

The first episode was what I really wanted from this season. The tone and where that was going was something I was really excited for. While I got some of that and more, everything was great up to the last arc where the story started to delve into villains I did not care for.

Kaguya-sama: Love is War

Kaguya-sama: Love is War

I think I was watching a different show compared to the masses. While I think it’s good, it’s nowhere near classic level the hype is raising it at. The comedy part of the romcom is okay, the production values sky-high, but the real story is far and between. The real juicy bits are when we get real character development like the last episode, but with 12 episodes and more comedy heavy than anything it’s hard to ask for something it’s not trying to be. Well, at least what we got this season.
